My son, Jaehyun, the only one in the world. You were so cute and small, but you became a professional player and stepped on the KS ground, and I'm happy just to imagine. Do you remember when Jaehyun started playing baseball? You liked all kinds of sports when you were young, but you never let go of the baseball and the bat. I still remember you telling me to copy and match the player's form whenever my dad got off work. My mom was against it at first. Seeing my uncle's baseball life, which was not easy as a professional baseball player, Jaehyun wanted me to keep him from going through difficult tasks. But you never let go of baseball. 

I remember you enjoying defensive training for a tennis ball that my dad hit with a tennis racket. Whenever I saw a vacant lot, I took out a box of gloves and a ball and asked my dad to hit it, and when I saw him slide to catch the ball to imitate the players, I was amazed, thinking, "Isn't Jae-hyun a baseball prodigy?" Do you remember when people in the neighborhood looked at you amazingly when you parked your toy car? I wonder if you are good at defense because of your natural athleticism and spatial sense. 

I didn't feel comfortable even when I asked him to play baseball. I trained until 11 p.m. at the elementary school baseball team (Little Baseball Team), which I entered for the first time, and I saw you never say "I'm tired" even when I came back. I was proud of you, but I felt sorry for you. It must have been tough even after moving to Seoul (Lee Soo-cho), but the young Jae-hyun overcame it well.

Rather, it reminds me of you patting your mom on the back. One day, when I was about to give up my dream of becoming a professional bowler, you said, "Mom, don't give up on your dream." I remember crying my eyes out loud when I saw you talking to me like that even when I was about to become an adolescent. (Jeong Subin has started bowling again and is now a professional bowler with the Perfect Korea team track.)

Jaehyun, mom and dad are so grateful for you because you grew up the right way without going the wrong way we wanted you to. I'm so proud of you. When you were in your adolescence, you threw away all your baseball supplies so that dad wouldn't be rude. Jaehyun also insisted that he didn't play baseball, but he did it because he didn't want his son to grow up rudely. I hope you don't feel bad. (Actually, I was worried that I would quit baseball.) Thank you so much for growing up so well and being a great player. 

I'm really proud of my son, who did well in middle and high school, but he also did his part in the professional league. When I was in middle school, I was heartbroken to see him have elbow surgery at that young age. It was the same when I had shoulder dislocation surgery in the professional league. Whenever that happened, I felt so reassured to see you who didn't say anything and said, "I have to overcome it myself." It's amazing that you became the main shortstop of the professional team and even performed in the Korean Series.

Son, mom and dad don't want you to get paid a lot or become a free agent. Just like now, all I want is for you to enjoy and play baseball for a long time. I want you to be the right player who helps the younger brothers like you are, and gives as much as you are loved.  

I'm really looking forward to seeing you on the stage of the Korean Series. It's good to get good results, but I hope you don't get sick. You know that my mom is 'Jaehyun's fan no.1, right? My mom and my family are always watching me, so I hope I can do well and achieve good results as I am now.
